Mittal Metal Industries

Our place is right by Doaba Chowk, not far from the Devi Talab Mandir. If you know that area, you know it stays quite busy with people coming and going to the temple. The sound of metal hitting metal is what you’ll hear before you even see the sign. We’ve been working out of this spot for a long time. It’s an old building, but it does the job for what we need. Inside, there are piles of scrap and finished pieces waiting to be moved. We don’t have a fancy showroom. If someone wants to see what we do, they just walk into the main shed where the heat from the furnace is strongest. It’s hard work, and the guys here have the calluses to prove it. We drink a lot of water and try to stay in the shade when the sun is directly overhead. The floor is concrete and always has a bit of iron dust on it. We don’t worry much about the decor because we are too busy with the orders. Sometimes the trucks have a hard time navigating the narrow bits near the Chowk, but we manage. It is a straightforward operation. We wake up, get to the shop, and work until the sun goes down. It’s honest labor and we like being part of the neighborhood near the Mandir. We don't have a lot of rules, we just know what needs doing.
