Asst Manager

Hoshiarpur is a nice enough place and we are based out of the Campus Maharaja Palace on Sutheri Road. It is a bit of an interesting spot for an assistant manager to work from. The campus has a bit of history to it I suppose. Working here involves a lot of walking around and making sure the different parts of the site are doing okay. Sutheri Road can get busy during the school runs or when people are headed home. My day usually starts with a walk through the grounds before I sit down at the desk. The office is simple and functional. I handle the logistics and the general upkeep of things. It is not a high-pressure corporate environment but there is always something to fix or someone to talk to. We get visitors from time to time and they usually ask about the building. I just tell them what I know and get back to work. Punjab weather can be tough with the humidity but the thick walls of the building help a little. I have my routine and it works for me. No one here is trying to impress anyone with big words or fancy titles. We just need to make sure the place stays running and the people who use the campus are satisfied. It is honest work and it keeps me on my toes most days of the week. We just focus on the daily chores and keep things steady.
