Anmol Ice Cream Parlour

Anmol Ice Cream Parlour is on Jallandhar Road. We are quite close to the Ghanta Ghar and right near Bansal Crockery. It’s a well-known area and the clock tower is a good landmark for people trying to find us. The road is always busy with cars and rickshaws going back and forth. Inside the parlour, it’s a bit quieter but you still hear the horns outside. We’ve got a few tables and the big glass-top freezers. I spend my days mostly behind the counter. It’s not just about scooping ice cream; there is a lot of cleaning and making sure the deliveries arrive on time so we don't run out. We get a mix of shoppers who are out looking at crockery and people just walking by on the main road. It’s an old-fashioned kind of place. We don't use any fancy technology here. Just a notebook for the accounts and a cash drawer. Sometimes the regulars stay for a while to talk about the news or the weather. We don't mind the company. It makes the day go by faster. We aren't doing anything special, just running a local parlour like any other in the city. It’s hard work during the summers but we are used to it by now. The location is good for business and we just keep the doors open for whoever wants to stop by.
