You can find us on S.D. College Road in Jalandhar City. We are very close to the S.D. Women’s College, so we see a lot of students walking past our window every day. It’s a busy street with plenty of energy. The shop isn't very large, but we've squeezed in enough chairs to handle the busy times. We have some posters on the walls, mostly just old ones showing different hair styles that nobody really asks for anymore. The floor is a bit uneven in one corner, so we have to be careful when we move the stools around. We keep the scissors in a jar of blue liquid and the combs in a tray on the counter. It’s a simple routine we have. We open up, wipe down the counters, and wait for the first customer to arrive. Because we are near the college, we get a lot of younger people who want something a bit different, but we also get the older folks from the nearby houses. We don't have fancy lights or any of that modern stuff. Just a few tube lights on the ceiling that flicker a bit when they first turn on. The sink has a small leak that we've been meaning to fix, but a bucket underneath does the trick for now. It’s a comfortable enough place to spend an hour. We just focus on the hair and the conversation.
