If you head behind the Industrial Estate near the Pathankot Be Pass Chowk, you’ll find us at Ajay Industries in Ajay Nagar. It’s a dusty spot because of all the trucks passing by on the bypass, but it’s where we’ve set up shop. We’ve been here for a long time, watching the area grow and change. We do industrial work, which means a lot of noise and heavy lifting. It’s not the kind of place where you’d wear a suit. Most of us are in work clothes that have seen better days. We don’t have a fancy lobby or a receptionist. Usually, if you walk in, you’ll just find one of us near the machines. We focus on getting the orders out to the people who need them. Pathankot is a busy junction, so we get a lot of people stopping by asking for directions or looking for parts. We try to help out when we can. The work is steady, and we don’t really look for a lot of attention. We just want to make sure the stuff we build is solid and does what it’s supposed to do. Some evenings, we just sit outside for a bit after the machines are turned off and watch the traffic. It’s a plain, honest way to make a living, and we’ve been doing it this way since the beginning. We like the rhythm of it.
