Agarwal Steel

Agarwal Steel is located near Mama Chowk in the Civil Line area. It’s a very noisy spot because of all the traffic at the chowk and the sound of metal being moved around. We deal with all kinds of steel rods and sheets. Our yard is usually full of heavy materials that require a lot of muscle to move. We don't have any air conditioning in the main work area, so it gets pretty hot during the summer months. The staff here is used to the heat and the hard work. We mostly talk to builders and guys who are fixing up their houses nearby. We don't have a polished website or a big marketing team. People find us because they see the stacks of steel from the road or they heard about us from a neighbor. We use an old scale to weigh everything and we write down the numbers in a ledger. It’s an old-school way of doing things but it hasn't failed us yet. Civil Line is a decent place to be based, and being near Mama Chowk makes it easy for the big trucks to find us. We don't make any big promises, we just show you what we have and tell you the price. That’s how we’ve always done it here. It’s a lot of lifting and loading but we keep the operations moving every single day.
