A Von Beauty Salon is located on Capt Man Deep Harry Marg in Jalandhar City. We are right across the road from Fair Deal Travel. It’s a decent sized street, though parking can be a bit of a headache sometimes if you're driving a car. The salon itself is pretty basic. We have the usual setup with long mirrors and swivel chairs. I wouldn't say it’s the most modern place you’ve ever seen, but it’s functional. The floor is covered in linoleum that’s seen a lot of foot traffic over the years. We spend most of the day dealing with walk-ins who are passing by on their way to other errands. It’s a mix of people getting their hair washed, cut, or styled. I try to keep the magazines on the table updated, but they usually end up torn or old anyway. The air inside is always a bit thick with the smell of hairspray and talcum powder. We have a small back room for some of the other beauty work like waxing, but it’s mostly just the main area where the action happens. The street noise is constant since it's a main road, but you stop hearing it after the first hour of work. We aren't a big chain or anything, just a local business trying to do a good job for the people in Jalandhar. It’s a simple living and we appreciate the folks who keep coming back to us month after month.
