We’ve been here at G 99 in the Riico Industrial Area for quite some time now. Most days are just spent around the marble slabs, checking what came in from the cutters and making sure things are sorted right. It’s a dusty job, honestly, but that’s just how it is when you’re dealing with stone. People come by the yard looking for something specific for their floors or walls, and we just show them what we have on the lot. We don’t have fancy showrooms or anything like that. It’s mostly just us and the machines and the noise of the industrial area. Sometimes the weather makes things difficult, especially when it rains and the yard gets muddy, but we keep moving the blocks anyway. My father started things here, and now we just keep the routine going. You’ll usually find someone in the small office near the gate if you need help. We try to keep a good variety of marble because everyone wants something different, but it depends on what we can get our hands on at the time. It’s a lot of heavy lifting and long hours standing on the concrete, but it’s what we know how to do. If you're driving through Riico, you'll see our sign. It's nothing big, just enough so people don't get lost looking for the unit. We just focus on getting the slabs loaded up and sent out to the sites where they're needed. It’s nothing more than that.
