Queen Harish

Jaisalmer is a place that feels different from everywhere else, and our spot in Suthar Pada is right in the thick of it. We are Queen Harish, and we operate from this old part of town where the streets are narrow and the stones are yellow. It’s a busy area with plenty of people moving around. We don't have a big corporate office; it’s more of a workspace where we keep our gear and prepare for our performances. Most days are spent cleaning costumes, checking the music equipment, or talking to folks about upcoming shows. Jaisalmer gets very hot in the summer, so things slow down a bit then, but otherwise, we are always doing something. The building has some character, with its old walls and the dust that seems to get into everything no matter how much we sweep. People know us around here because we’ve been part of the local scene for a long time. It’s not always organized perfectly, and sometimes we are running around at the last minute to get things ready for a guest. We don't use any fancy management software or anything like that. We just write things down in a notebook and remember faces. Suthar Pada is a good place to be because it feels real and connected to the history of the city. We just do our work, talk to the locals, and keep the tradition going as best as we can.
