Lalit Thanvi is located right in the heart of Jaisalmer, specifically in the Manak Chowk area with the postcode 345001. If you know Jaisalmer, you know that Manak Chowk is a place that feels very old and has a lot of history in its walls. It is a busy spot where people are always walking by and there is a lot of local trade happening. My business here is small and personal, run from this historic part of the city. I don't have a big marketing team or a fancy building; it is just me working out of this space. Everyday life here involves talking to locals and visitors who pass through the chowk. Jaisalmer can get very hot, especially in the summer, but the stone buildings help a little. I spend my time managing the daily needs of the business and making sure everything is in order. It is a very direct way of working, where you see the results of your labor right away. People often stop by just to chat or ask for directions while they are looking at the shops. Being in Manak Chowk means being part of a community that has lived and worked here for generations. I try to keep things honest and straightforward with everyone I deal with. It might not be the most modern setup, but it works for me and for the people who live around here in Jaisalmer.
