Ays Media

Jaisalmer is a beautiful place but the wind really brings a lot of sand into everything, including our office. We are located at Plot No 2 and 3 in the New Colony area, which is quite close to Hanuman Circle. If you go behind Bhatia Bagichi, you’ll find us there. Ays Media is mostly just a few of us working on local news, ads, and whatever else the community needs. It’s a quiet spot compared to the main tourist areas, which is nice when you’re trying to focus on a layout or a video edit. The building isn't anything special, just a regular place with enough room for our desks and some equipment. We spend our days talking to local people and trying to figure out the best way to show off their businesses. Sometimes we stay late when there is a deadline, watching the sun go down over the desert through the window. It’s not like those big city media agencies; we know our neighbors and we know the local problems. Sometimes the power goes out and we just have to sit and wait for it to come back, drinking chai and talking about life. It’s a slow pace but we get the work done eventually. We’ve been here in the New Colony for a while now and we like being part of the neighborhood. It's a good place to work and we are happy to help out whoever comes by.
