Windsor Plaza

You can find us at 209-A on Sansar Chandra Road, which is right across from the Punjab National Bank. If you know that area, you know how busy it gets with all the banking folks and people moving through the city center. Our spot is a bit older, and the walls have a few scuffs here and there, but it works for what we need. We get here early before the bank opens to get a head start on the day. The traffic on this road never really stops, so there is a constant hum of engines and horns in the background. It is just a normal part of the day for us now. Inside, we keep things pretty basic. There are no bright flashing lights or anything like that. We have our desks and our chairs, and we just get on with the business at hand. People often stop in because they are already in the area for the bank or the other shops nearby. We talk to them, handle what needs to be handled, and that’s about it. In the afternoons, when the sun hits the front of the building, it gets a bit warm, so we usually keep the curtains pulled a little. It isn't a glamorous life, but we like the rhythm of it. Being centrally located means we see a lot of different faces, which makes the time go by faster.
