Our spot is over in Bapu Nagar, tucked into the Tulip Residency at Plot C91. Jaipur gets really hot, so most of our day is spent making sure the air conditioning is actually working like it should. We aren't the biggest building on Jagraj Marg, but we keep things moving. Managing a hotel involves a lot of laundry, honestly. There are always sheets to wash and towels to fold. The staff here is mostly local folks who know the neighborhood well. We spend a lot of time at the front desk talking to people who have just arrived from the train station or the airport. They usually look tired, so we just try to get them into a room quickly. It is not like the movies where everything is perfect; sometimes a lightbulb flickers or a guest loses their key. We just fix it and move on to the next thing. The lobby is a bit small, but it’s clean and it gets the job done. We don't have a massive crew, just a handful of us making sure the breakfast is ready on time and the hallways are swept. Being in this part of Jaipur means we get a mix of business travelers and people just passing through. It’s a practical place to stay, nothing too over the top, just a hotel where we try to keep things steady. Some days the elevator is a bit slow, but we make sure the guests are comfortable.
