Watch House

Watch House is located near Gopal Ji Ka Rasta and Vidydhar Ka Rasta, right in the middle of Tripoliya Bazar. It is a small spot, really. We have watches all over the walls and in the glass cases. Most days are spent changing batteries or fixing a strap that came loose. The bazar is always crowded, so there is a lot of noise from the rickshaws and people talking. We don't have a big team, just a few of us who know how the gears work. Some of the clocks on the wall tick at different times, which sounds a bit funny if you listen closely. People stop in while they are doing their other shopping in the market. We've been at this location for a while now. It’s not a modern showroom with bright lights, just a regular shop where we keep things simple. If a watch stops working, folks bring it here to see if we can get it ticking again. We sell some new ones too, mostly plain styles that people like for everyday use. Dealing with tiny screws and springs takes a lot of patience, but we’re used to it. The space is a bit cramped because of all the tools and boxes, but it works for us. Tripoliya Bazar is a good place to be, even if it gets a bit chaotic during the festival seasons. We just stay busy with the work at hand.
