We are Vk First Farmer Producer Company Limited, and you can find us over in Govindgarh, which is part of the Chomu area near Jaipur. Our setup is right there with Mohan Lal Sita Ram Kumawat, so it's a very local operation. Being a farmer producer company means we spend a lot of time talking to the people who actually grow the food. It’s not a corporate office with glass walls or anything like that. We are mostly out in the field or sitting in the office dealing with the paperwork that comes with running a collective. Chomu is known for its agriculture, so we are right in the middle of where things happen. We started this because the farmers around here needed a way to work together more effectively. It’s mostly just us trying to figure out how to get better results for everyone involved in the group. Sometimes it’s a bit chaotic when everyone shows up at once, but that is just how it goes in a small town. We don’t really do fancy advertising or anything like that. Most of our work comes from word of mouth between the neighbors and the people in the surrounding villages. We just want to make sure the crops are handled right and that the folks doing the hard work get a fair shake. It’s a simple way of doing business, rooted right here in the soil of Govindgarh, without any of the corporate talk.
