Mangal Traders

Operating out of the Rajdhani Krishi Upaj Mandi on Sikar Road means you have to be okay with a lot of noise and a lot of people. Our spot is A-84, and it’s right in the middle of the chaos that is Mangal Traders. The mornings here start while it is still dark outside, and the air is usually filled with the sound of shouting and wooden crates being slammed onto the ground. We have a small area where we sit and handle the paperwork, but most of the time we are out on the floor dealing with whatever has just come in. The Mandi is a dusty place, and by the time noon rolls around, everyone is usually covered in a fine layer of it. At A-84, we have some old metal chairs and a table that has seen better days, but they serve their purpose when we finally get a chance to sit down for a break. We don't have any fancy marketing or a website to speak of; people just know Mangal Traders is at this specific stall. Dealing with the various farmers and transporters who come through Sikar Road is what fills our hours. It’s a tough environment sometimes, especially when it rains and the ground gets all muddy, but we’ve been here long enough that it feels like second nature. We just focus on the task at hand and try to keep things moving as smoothly as possible.
