Vivek Kumar Meena

My name is Vivek Kumar Meena and you can find me over at C-79 on Hari Marg. That is in the Malviya Nagar area of Jaipur. If you know the neighborhood, you know Hari Marg is a busy little stretch. My office, or whatever you want to call it, is right there in the middle of things. I’ve lived and worked in this part of town for a long time, so I know most of the shopkeepers on the street. It’s a busy place with people always walking past the gate. C-79 is a solid old building. It has seen better days maybe, but it works for what I need. I usually get in around nine and stay until the evening. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoon heat, but we just sit outside for a bit until it comes back on. Malviya Nagar has changed a lot lately with all the new shops, but our little corner on Hari Marg stays pretty much the same. I don’t go in for all that corporate talk. I just handle the work as it comes in. There is always a lot of paper on my desk and my phone is usually ringing with something or other. It is just the way it is when you are running your own thing. Most people who come here are locals who live nearby or found the address from a friend. I’ve been sitting at this same desk for years and I don’t plan on moving anywhere else anytime soon. It is a good life.
