I run my business out of C Scheme on Vinoba Marg. It’s a decent area, a bit quieter than the main markets, which is nice for getting work done. My office is in G 7, and it’s a pretty straightforward setup. I’ve got a couple of desks, some old filing cabinets, and a few chairs for visitors. Most of my day involves looking at documents and talking on the phone. It’s not the kind of place with a big staff or a lot of bells and whistles. I handle most things myself or with just a bit of help. The street outside has some nice trees, and I usually keep the window open unless it’s too dusty. People know they can find me here during the regular hours. I spend a lot of time writing things out by hand before typing them up. There’s always a stack of folders that needs sorting, and I try to get through them one by one. It’s a slow and steady kind of process. Sometimes I go out for a walk along Vinoba Marg just to clear my head when the paperwork gets to be too much. The neighbors are mostly other small offices or houses, so we all know each other’s faces. It’s a simple way to work, staying close to the center of things without all the noise of the city.
