Alok Sharma

People usually find me here at Sangam Tower on M I Road. It’s a busy spot near Church Road and there’s always noise from the street coming up to the windows. I’ve been running things under my own name, Alok Sharma, for some time now. Mostly, it’s just about getting the work done day after day. The office isn't very big but it fits what I need. Sometimes the lift in the building acts up, so I just take the stairs. Most of my morning is spent answering calls or looking at papers. It’s not fancy or anything. Just a regular place where I sit and handle business. I try to keep things simple because life is already complicated enough. When people walk in, they usually see me at the desk surrounded by folders and notebooks. I’ve got a view of the road, though it’s mostly just traffic and people rushing to get somewhere. I like being in this part of town because everything is close by. If I need a tea, there’s a stall just around the corner. It’s been my routine for years. Some days are slow and I just watch the clock, but usually, there is enough to keep my hands busy until it's time to lock up. I don't really have a big staff, it’s mostly just me managing the details. It works for me and it has worked for the people who come here.
