Our place is at 7 Bani Park, in the Chanakya Puri area, right near the Nirman Hotel. It is a nice part of town, relatively quiet compared to the big markets. We have been here for a while, running our business out of this location. It’s a bit of a mix between a home and an office. You can usually find one of us sitting out front when the weather is decent. We don’t really have a big sign or flashy lights. People who need us usually know where to find us near the hotel. We handle various goods and supplies, mostly just moving things from one place to another based on what people ask for. My cousin helps me with the accounts, and we have a couple of guys who help with the heavy lifting. The daily routine is pretty basic. We open up, check what orders came in, and start making calls. Bani Park has changed a lot over the years, with more buildings coming up, but our spot stays pretty much the same. We like the pace here. It’s not as frantic as the old city. We have our regulars who drop by for a chat and some chai. We don’t try to be anything we aren’t. We are just local people doing business in a neighborhood we’ve lived in for a very long time now. It works for us.
