Mansarovar is a big area in Jaipur, and we’re right there on Madhyam Marg at 122/66 B. It’s a busy street with plenty of shops, and we fit right in with our small farm office. We don't have a giant farm right here in the middle of the city, of course, but this is where all the planning happens. We deal with all the details of managing the farm properties and the crops we’re interested in. The office is usually a bit cluttered with maps and soil reports. Rajasthan weather can be tough, so we spend a lot of time thinking about water and how to keep things green when it’s dry out. My brother and I started this because we liked being involved in agriculture, even if we grew up in the city. We talk to people from all over the state who are looking for advice or help with their own land. It’s a lot of back and forth, and sometimes we’re on the phone until late in the evening. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there. We just want to do a decent job and make sure the farms we look after are doing okay. It’s a lot of driving out to the rural areas and then coming back here to finish the paperwork. We like the balance of city life and farm life, even if it gets exhausting sometimes. We just hope the crops do well.
