We set up Virasat Minerals right here in Jaipur, working out of the Prism Tower which is close to Nehru Place and the GPO. It’s a decent enough building, though finding parking in this part of Jaipur is always a bit of a nightmare if you arrive after ten in the morning. Inside, our office is mostly quiet, save for the sound of the air conditioner and someone typing away on a laptop. We deal with various minerals and it’s a lot of logistical work, honestly. We spend a good chunk of our day talking to transporters and checking on the quality of the stuff coming from the mines. Jaipur gets incredibly hot, as everyone knows, so we try to get most of the heavy lifting done early in the day before the sun really starts hitting the glass of the tower. It’s not the kind of job where you wear a suit every day. Most of us just wear whatever is comfortable for the heat. We have some samples sitting on the shelves that have been there since we first moved into this office. It’s a straightforward operation where we just try to keep our clients happy without making a big fuss about things. We aren't trying to change the world, just trying to run a solid business and keep our staff paid. There's always some paperwork to catch up on at the end of the week before we go home and enjoy the evening with our families.
