Vijay General & Provision Store

Our store, Vijay General & Provision Store, is located in Ramganj Bazar at Hinda KI Mori. We are right near the Gurudwara and the temple, so it is a very busy part of the city. We sell all the daily essentials like pulses, rice, soap, and snacks. The morning starts early here because people want to get their milk and bread before going to work. The shop is full of big sacks of grains and smaller jars of spices. It smells like a mix of everything we sell. We have a lot of regular families who have been buying from us for many years. It is a bit cramped inside, but we know exactly where every bag of sugar is kept. The street outside is narrow, and there is always a lot of activity with people going to the Gurudwara. We don't have a computer system; we just write things down in a notebook and use a traditional scale for weighing. It works for us. Sometimes the kids come in for a single piece of candy after school and we have to find the jar. We try to keep the shelves stocked, but sometimes the delivery truck gets stuck in the bazar traffic for an hour. It is a lively place to work. We are part of the neighborhood, and everyone knows everyone else. We just keep serving the community with the basics they need every day without much fuss.
