Victorian Furnitures is tucked away in the V.K.I. Area at S-758, 9F1. The V.K.I. Area is a bit of a maze if you don't know your way around, full of different units and workshops doing all kinds of things. Our spot is a bit more specific because of the type of furniture we work on. Even though the name sounds a bit formal, the actual shop is a practical, working space. We have heavy benches and old tools mixed in with some newer ones. The air always has that smell of stain and varnish, which can be pretty strong on days when the air is still. We don't have a big sales team or anything like that. Usually, it’s just the people who are actually making the furniture who end up talking to you. We spend our days carving, sanding, and putting things together. The 9F1 section of S-758 is where we spend most of our waking hours. It can get loud with the neighbors in the industrial area, but we just focus on the piece in front of us. Some of the designs take a long time to get right, so you have to be patient. We don't rush through things just to get them done. It’s a steady pace here at Victorian Furnitures. We like the V.K.I. Area because it’s a place where people actually make things with their hands, and that’s exactly what we do.
