Bhavya Creations

Bhavya Creations is over at A 182 in Vaishali Nagar. It is mostly a quiet neighborhood compared to the main city markets, which is nice for focusing on our work. We do a lot of designing and making clothes and various fabric items. The front part of the shop is where we keep the finished pieces, and the back is where the actual cutting and sewing happens. There are threads and scraps of cloth all over the floor by the end of the day. We have a few sewing machines running most of the time, and the sound becomes like background music after a while. Most of the people who come to us live nearby in the Vaishali Nagar area. They bring their own ideas or sometimes just pick something we have already made. It is not a huge factory, just a small group of us trying to make things that look decent. Sometimes we run out of a specific color of thread and have to send someone to the market to find a match. The lighting inside isn't the best, so we try to do the detailed embroidery work near the window during the daytime. We have been in this same spot for a few years now. The regulars know they can just drop by and see what we are working on. It’s a simple setup, but it works for us and keeps us busy throughout the week.
