Our place is tucked away at Plot No-19 in Pratap Nagar. If you know the Tejaji Marg area in Sodala, you know it gets quite crowded, especially with all the traffic coming off New Sanganer Road. We opened up here because it’s a central spot for a lot of the local trades. It isn’t a very big space, but we make it work. Most mornings we spend a good amount of time just rearranging boxes and checking what came in the day before. The universal part of our name means we deal with a bit of everything, so the inventory can look a bit messy sometimes. People from around Sodala often drop in looking for specific items they can't find at the bigger stores. The tea stall down the road is where we usually grab a quick break. The building itself is older, and you can see the wear on the walls, but it’s sturdy. We keep the front shutter up as long as there is daylight. It’s a lot of manual work, checking lists and talking to the delivery guys who struggle to park on the narrow street. Sometimes the heat in the afternoon makes the shop feel a bit stuffy, so we keep the fans running constantly. It’s just a normal day-to-day operation where we try to stay organized amidst all the different parts and products we handle. There is no corporate office here, just our desks and the stock.
