You can find us at No. 384 in Chandpol Bazar. If you know Jaipur, you know that Chandpole is one of the busiest markets you can find. Our store is right in the middle of all that action. We have been here for a long time, selling all kinds of general items. We have spices, grains, and things for the house. The shop is a bit narrow, so we have to be careful with how we stack the items. We don't have any bright lights or modern displays. It is just a regular shop with lots of things packed onto the shelves. Every morning we start by cleaning the front of the store. The market can get quite dusty with all the traffic. We see all kinds of people every day, from locals to those who are just passing through the bazar. We don't use any complicated computer systems here. We mostly just remember the prices and keep a handwritten record of what we sell. It’s a lot of manual work, especially when the new stock arrives on the handcarts. We have to move quickly to get everything inside so we don't block the street. It’s a noisy place to work, but we like being where the action is. We have built up a lot of trust with our regular customers over the years. We just keep things simple and try to be helpful to whoever walks through the door.
