V D Sharma

I'm V D Sharma, and my office is at 800 Civil Lines in Shivaji Nagar, near the Bais Godam area. This part of Jaipur is quite old and has a lot of history to it. My office is a simple place where I handle my daily affairs and meet with people who need my help. It’s a quiet neighborhood for the most part, though the traffic near Bais Godam can get pretty backed up during the day. I’ve lived and worked around here for many years, so I know most of the neighbors and the local shopkeepers. My desk is usually covered in papers and folders because I prefer doing things the old-fashioned way. I don't use much technology beyond what is absolutely necessary. People usually drop by for a chat and a cup of tea while we discuss whatever business they have brought to me. It’s a very relaxed environment, nothing like those high-pressure offices you see in the newer parts of the city. Sometimes I take a walk in the evenings around Shivaji Nagar just to clear my head after a long day of reading through documents. It’s a good place to be, right in the middle of everything but still feeling like a local community. I don't have a big staff, just one or two people who help me keep things organized. We just take things one day at a time and try to be helpful.
