Uncle Keneeth

You can find Uncle Keneeth over on Agra Road, right inside the Sethi Transport Company compound. We’re directly opposite the Central Jail, so it’s an easy landmark to find. It’s a bit of a gritty spot with all the big trucks coming in and out of the yard all day. There’s always the sound of engines idling and drivers shouting to each other. We set up here because there was a need for a place where people working in the transport business could get something to eat or just take a break. The interior is pretty basic, just some sturdy tables and chairs that can handle a lot of use. We don't have a fancy menu or anything. It's mostly just hearty stuff that keeps you going. We get a lot of dust from the road and the yard, so we’re always wiping down the surfaces. It’s a lively place, especially early in the morning when the long-distance drivers are just getting in or preparing to head out. We’ve heard a lot of stories from the road over the years sitting at this counter. It’s not the kind of place you’d go for a romantic dinner, but it’s reliable and we’re always here. We know the routines of the jail guards and the transport office staff. It's just a regular part of the neighborhood, serving folks who work hard for a living.
