Total Mathematics

Total Mathematics is right here on Mansarovar Madhyam Marg at 71/28. We’ve been in this spot for a good while now. It’s mostly just us and a lot of papers. We spend our mornings getting the room ready and making sure there’s enough chalk or markers for the day. The building is okay, though the stairs can be a bit much when you’re carrying heavy bags. We have some old desks that have seen better days, but they work for what we need. Math can be a bit dry, so we try to keep things simple and not too complicated for whoever comes in. There’s a lot of noise from the main road outside, but you get used to it after a week or two. Sometimes the fans make a rattling noise, and we have to give them a little tap to keep them quiet. We aren’t some big flashy academy with fancy lights. It’s just a place where we sit down and go over numbers until they make sense. Usually, the afternoons are the busiest when students finish their regular classes and head over here. We keep a big jug of water in the corner because it gets pretty hot during the summer months.
