Our center is located at 4/5 S.F.S. in the Agarwal Farm area. It’s a residential-style neighborhood, so it’s a bit calmer than the main market areas. We’ve been running this training institute for some time now. We teach various skills, mostly focused on traditional crafts and vocational training. The rooms are set up with tables and tools where people can sit and learn. It’s not a corporate training center with fancy projectors and leather chairs. We have simple wooden benches and a lot of hands-on work going on. The students come from all over, and it’s usually quite a mix of people. We try to keep the atmosphere relaxed so everyone feels comfortable while they’re practicing. Sometimes the place gets a bit messy with all the materials we use for the lessons, but that’s part of learning. We don't have a big office staff, just a few of us who handle the teaching and the basic admin stuff. We’ve stayed in Agarwal Farm because it’s easy for people to reach by bus or rickshaw. It feels like a community here. We often have tea breaks where everyone just chats about their day. It’s a practical place where people come to pick up a new skill that might help them find work or start something of their own. We think it’s important to keep these skills going in our local community.
