Satym Exports

We've been over here at C-217 Manu Marg for a while now. It's just Satym Exports, nothing fancy at all. Most days the office is a bit of a mess with papers and product samples scattered everywhere. We spend a lot of our time on the phone or checking boxes before they head out to the docks. It gets pretty loud in here when we're really busy. My desk is right by the door, which is handy but drafty in the winter. We don't have a big corporate lobby or anything, just some plastic chairs and a kettle for tea if someone stops by to talk business. Most of the stuff we handle goes out pretty quick. Sometimes the traffic on Manu Marg is a total nightmare, especially in the late afternoons when everyone is heading home. Dealing with exports means there's always some new form to fill out or a container we need to track across the ocean. We just try to keep things moving as best we can. There’s a small team of us here, maybe five people on a good day. Everyone knows where everything is, even if it looks cluttered to an outsider. We don't really do big meetings. We just talk across the room or shout if someone is in the back. If a shipment is running late, we're all on the phone trying to fix it. It’s hard work, but it’s what we know how to do.
