The Royale

We have been at 6 Shri Rampura in Civil Lines for quite a long time now. The building is an old one, and it has a lot of character, though the stairs can be a bit creaky when you walk up them. The Royale isn't some big corporate office with glass walls and fancy carpets. It is just a place where we come to work every single day. Most mornings, we open up the shutters and let some fresh air in before the sun gets too high and things start heating up. Civil Lines is a nice part of town, but it has its quirks like anywhere else. We spend a lot of our time just handling the paperwork and making sure everything is where it should be. The desks are a bit cluttered with folders and pens, and there is always a half-empty cup of tea sitting somewhere. We don't have a receptionist or anything like that. If someone comes by, one of us just gets up and says hello. It’s a very simple way of doing things, but it works for us. We know the neighbors and the local shopkeepers. Sometimes we sit out front for a few minutes just to watch the traffic go by on the street. It’s not a fast-paced environment, but we stay busy enough with the regular tasks that keep the place running. We are just a small group of people doing our thing here at number 6.
