The Rambagh Palace Hotel

The Rambagh Palace Hotel is located right on Bhawani Singh Road. It is a very large and old building, and there is always something that needs fixing or cleaning. Working in a place like this is quite different from a normal office because the building itself has so much history in every wall. We spend a lot of our time walking the long halls and making sure the gardens look okay for whoever is walking through them. It is a massive property, so there is always a lot of ground to cover every single morning. Most of the staff here are local people who have lived in this part of the city for a long time. We do not use much of that fancy corporate talk you hear in the big cities. We just talk to the people who stay here like they are guests in our own home. Bhawani Singh Road can get quite a bit of traffic during the day, but once you get inside the main gates, things stay pretty quiet and still. We have our daily routines of checking all the rooms and making sure the kitchen is stocked up with everything they need for the next meal. It is a lot of responsibility to look after a place of this size and age. Sometimes things do not go perfectly, and we have to scramble to fix a leak or help someone. We just try to keep things running.
