T I Industries

Out here in the VKIA area, things are mostly about work and noise. Our place, T I Industries, is located at H-184 in the Badrana Industrial Area. It’s a big shed with a high metal roof that gets pretty hot when the sun is out. We do a lot of heavy work here, mostly involving metal and machines that make a lot of racket. The floor is usually covered in some kind of dust or grease, which is just part of the job. We don’t have an office with air conditioning; we just have a small corner with a desk and a couple of plastic chairs where we keep the records. Most of our day is spent dealing with the machines and making sure the orders are ready for the trucks. Speaking of trucks, getting them into the gate at H-184 can be a real struggle because the road is narrow and often blocked by other vehicles. The guys here have been working with us for a long time, and we all just know the routine. We eat our lunch together near the main entrance where there's a bit of a breeze. It’s not a glamorous business by any means. We’re just part of the industrial belt, doing our bit and making sure the products are made right. You won't find any fancy signs or receptionists here, just a lot of iron and hard work. It’s just how things are done in this part of the city.
