Swastik Watch Company is tucked into 673 Vidyadhar Ka Rasta, right off Tripoliya Bazar. It’s one of those narrow lanes where everyone knows each other. We’ve been here a long time, surrounded by other traditional businesses. Our shop is small, and the walls are lined with all kinds of timepieces. We spend our hours sitting at the small desks with our magnifying glasses. It’s what we know how to do. The atmosphere in Vidyadhar Ka Rasta is very different from the main road; it’s a bit more personal. Customers come in and usually stay for a chat while we look at their watches. We don’t have a website or anything like that. If you want to find us, you just walk down the lane. The address is 673, and we’re usually there from morning until late evening. Sometimes the repairs are simple, like a loose pin, and other times we have to take the whole thing apart. It’s delicate work. We don’t use fancy machines, just the old-school tools that have worked for years. Tripoliya Bazar is full of history, and we feel like we are part of that. Just a simple shop doing simple work for the people who find their way to our door. It’s been this way for years and we don't plan on changing how we do things. Every watch has a story.
