Our business is Swastik Edible Oil Industries Private Limited and you can find us at 303, Himmat NagarTonk Road. Being on Tonk Road means we are always in the middle of a lot of noise and movement. The oil industry is a tough one to be in because the market prices are always jumping around and you have to be very quick to keep up. Our office in Himmat Nagar is where we handle all the heavy lifting of the business side. It is a functional space, mostly filled with files and calculators and the smell of the city outside. We don't go in for fancy decor or big signs. Most of our day is spent talking to suppliers and making sure the oil is moving where it needs to go. We have a few people who have been with us since the start and they know the business inside out. Some days are stressful when the deliveries are late or the trucks get stuck in traffic on the main road, but we usually find a way to fix it. We aren't a massive factory with thousands of workers, just a local industry trying to keep things running smoothly. We take pride in just being a reliable part of the local economy. It’s a lot of long hours and phone calls, but that is what it takes to keep an oil business going.
