Suvasa

Suvasa is based out of Bindayaka. We’ve got Plot G-1/42 in the Riico Industrial Area. It’s not a fancy place, just where we work every day. I started this a while back, and the time has gone by fast. The area is full of other factories, so there is always some noise from trucks and machines nearby. We mostly deal with fabrics and block printing here. It is messy work, to be honest. Your hands get stained with dye and the floors are never quite as clean as you'd want them to be. We have a small group of people who have been with us for a long time. Some of them walk here from the nearby villages every morning. We don’t really have a big office or anything like that. Just a few desks pushed against the wall in the front room where we handle the paperwork. People ask why we stay out here instead of moving to the city center, but the rent is okay and we know the neighbors well. If a machine breaks down, someone from the next plot usually has a tool we can borrow. It's just how things go around here. We spend most of the day checking orders and making sure the colors look right on the cloth. Sometimes the weather makes the drying slow, and that’s a bit of a headache for everyone. We just try to get the work done and go home.
