Surveillance

Our office is number 136 in Bani Park, right across from City Plaza where the Space Cinema is. It’s a good landmark because everyone knows where the cinema is. We spend our time working on security cameras and monitoring systems. It is interesting work because you see a lot of different setups in different buildings. The office itself is full of monitors and boxes of cameras waiting to be installed. It gets a bit noisy with the traffic outside from City Plaza, but we don't mind it much. We started this because we liked the technical side of surveillance. It isn't just about sticking a camera on a wall; you have to get the angles right and make sure the wiring is hidden. Often, we are out at sites more than we are actually in the office. We are just a small team, so when you call, you’re likely talking to one of the people who actually does the installations. We don't go in for big sales pitches. We just show people how the equipment works and how to check the footage on their phones. It is a practical business for a practical need. Being in Bani Park makes it easy for us to get to different parts of the city. We’ve been here a good while now. Sometimes we grab a tea from the stall downstairs while we wait for a client to arrive or for a delivery to show up. It’s a simple routine but it works for us and keeps the days moving along.
