Suras Engineers is over at Bais Godam Industrial Estate, specifically at 15-C. It’s an industrial spot, so expect some grease and bits of metal around the floor. The building is a basic concrete structure that stays cool enough in the winter but gets very hot in May. We spend most of our time on the shop floor or at the small desk near the entrance. It smells like machines and oil in here most of the time. That’s just the way it is for us. We have been in this unit for quite a while. The lighting isn't the best, but we have some extra lamps for when we need to see things clearly on the benches. There’s a lot of heavy lifting and moving things around. We don't have a reception area or anyone to greet you. Usually, whoever is closest to the door just looks up and says hello. It’s a practical space without any frills. The estate itself is always humming with noise from other workshops nearby. We have a small area in the back where we keep our tools and parts. It stays pretty disorganized, no matter how much we try to tidy it up on Saturdays. We just know where everything is by memory. It’s a lot of hard work, but we are used to it. The fan in the corner rattles, but it keeps the air moving. We just keep our heads down and get the tasks done one by one until the day ends.
