Suhail Mines & Minerals

Our place is H. No.-1496, right across from Sarai Bisatiyan in the Kawtiyon Ki Peepli section of Haldiyon Ka Rasta. It is right in the Johari Bazar neighborhood. Suhail Mines & Minerals has been in this spot for quite some time now. The building is an old one, like most things around here. It’s a bit of a maze getting through the narrow lanes, but that’s just how Johari Bazar is. We spend our days looking at samples and keeping track of what’s coming from the sites. The office is usually filled with bags and small boxes. It’s a dusty kind of job, so we don't worry too much about keeping everything spotless. We have a couple of desks and some old wooden chairs. Most of the time, the phone is ringing or someone is stopping by to talk about a delivery. It gets pretty loud with the street noise coming through the windows. We usually have the windows open to get some air, even if it brings in the noise of the market. It’s a very local operation. We know the neighbors and the other shop owners on the street. We aren't trying to be some big corporate entity. We are just people working with minerals and stones every day. It’s what we know how to do. Sometimes the paperwork piles up, but we eventually get through it all. It is a simple life here and we like it.
