Sudeep Jain

My office is situated at 1803 Chaura Rasta, right by Fatehpurion Ka Darwaja. If you know Jaipur, you know how packed and narrow these streets are. It’s the heart of the old city. There is always noise from the scooters and the voices of people shopping in the markets nearby. I’ve been working from this spot for a long time. Sudeep Jain is the name on the door, but it’s really just a small space where I take care of my daily business. The building is old, with high ceilings and walls that have seen many years. I don't have a big staff or any modern gadgets everywhere. Just the essentials to get through the day. People often stop by just to say hello or ask for directions because the location is so central. It’s hard to find parking nearby, so most people just walk in. The pace of life here is different than the newer parts of town. Everything feels a bit more connected to the past. I sit at my desk, deal with the tasks at hand, and watch the world go by through the entrance. It’s not a high-pressure environment, though it does get busy during the festival seasons when the whole of Chaura Rasta is overflowing with people. I like the familiarity of it all. It’s just a simple workplace in a very old, very busy part of the city.
