Sri Maheshwari Salt Traders

We’ve been at 4-B/192, Central Govt. Employees Colony for quite some time now. Sri Maheshwari Salt Traders is just a small place where we keep the bags of salt ready for whoever needs them. It gets a bit dusty in here with all the white powder, but that’s just how it goes when you deal in salt every day. Most of the people around the colony know where we are. We don't have fancy signs or anything like that. Just the stacks of bags and the scale. My father started this, and I just keep it going because people always need salt for their cooking. It’s a simple thing to sell, really. We don't do anything complicated or have a big team of people. Some days it’s busy with trucks coming in and out to drop off new loads, and other days it’s just me sitting here on a wooden stool waiting for a local neighbor to stop by for a small packet. The humidity in this area sometimes makes the salt clump up, so we have to be really careful with how we store it in the back room. We try to keep things tidy, but it's a warehouse basically. If you're walking through the colony, you'll see our door usually propped open with a brick to let the air in. There isn't much to say about us besides we have the stock and we're here during the usual hours. We know most of the faces around here by now. It’s just a regular local trade we’ve been doing for years and years.
