Sri Ganpati Trading Company

Our warehouse and office are over at F-60 in the Kartarpura Industrial Area. Most people around here just call the area 22 Godam. It’s a place built for work, with lots of trucks and heavy loading going on all the time. At Sri Ganpati Trading Company, our days are mostly about inventory. We are constantly checking what’s come in and what needs to go out. The space is large and a bit dusty, which is just part of being in an industrial zone like this. We have a small corner blocked off for the desks and the computer, but most of the action happens on the floor. It can be quite loud when the neighbors are moving heavy goods, but we don't mind it. We’ve been at this for a while, so we know the local transporters and the other traders in the block. We don't bother with fancy talk or marketing slogans. We just trade goods and try to make sure the accounts are right at the end of the month. Sometimes the heat in Jaipur makes the afternoons slow, but we push through it. There’s usually a pot of tea going somewhere. We aren't a huge corporation with layers of bosses. We are just a few people who know the business well and show up every day to do the work. It’s a straightforward way to live and work, and it suits us just fine.
