Specail Lassi Wala

We've been at 315 M I Road for a while now. It's a busy spot, especially when the sun is really beating down and people just want something cold. Specail Lassi Wala isn't a fancy place with air conditioning or anything like that. We just have our big containers and the yogurt we get every morning. My father started this, and I just kept it going because it's what I know. Sometimes the line gets long and people get a bit impatient, but we move as fast as we can. We use the clay pots because they keep things cool, though sometimes they break in transit which is a pain. It’s noisy out there on the main road with all the horns and traffic, but that’s just Jaipur for you. We see all kinds of people—tourists looking at maps and locals who stop by every single day on their way home from work. We don't really do anything else, just the lassi. If we run out of curd by the evening, we just close up early. Some days are better than others, depending on the weather. If it rains, nobody wants a cold drink, so we just sit and talk. It’s a simple life here. We don't have a website or anything, just this spot on the road where the bricks are a bit worn down from people standing around.
