If you drive out towards Phagi, you’ll find us in a little spot called Balaji Ki Dhani. We are over in Keriya, Nimera. It’s a bit away from the main Jaipur city, which is why we like it. The dam view is what people usually talk about when they come to Soorwal Dam View Resort. It’s a lot quieter out here than in the middle of town. We spend a lot of our time just looking after the grounds and making sure the resort stays in good shape. It’s a lot of physical work, honestly. Being in a rural area like this means you have to be ready to fix things yourself. We aren't some big city firm with hundreds of employees. It is just a few of us making sure everything runs okay. The air is different here, and the pace is much slower. We don't have a big marketing team or anything. We just tell people where we are and what it’s like. Some days the water in the dam looks great, other days it’s lower, but that’s just nature. We focus on the basics—clean space, decent food, and a place to sit. It’s simple, really. We’ve been out here in Phagi for a while now, and we’ve grown to like the quiet mornings before the guests wake up and the day starts getting busy. It takes a lot of daily work to keep a place like this running.
