Sonkiya Engineering Co.

Sonkiya Engineering Co. is located at No-A-67/A on Road No-1/C in the VKI Area. If you know the VKI Area, you know it’s mostly just factories and warehouses as far as you can see. It’s an industrial place, and our shop fits right in. We have a decent-sized space on Road No-1/C where we do all our engineering work. The air is always a bit thick with the smell of oil and burnt metal, and the floors are never really clean for long. We’ve got some lathes and milling machines that have seen a lot of years of use, but they still run just fine. Most of the guys here have been with us for a long time, so we all know the routine without having to talk about it too much. We start early when it’s still cool, and by the afternoon, the machines have the whole place feeling pretty hot. We don't have any fancy brochures or a marketing team. We just take the drawings people bring us and try to make the parts right. Sometimes a job takes longer than we thought, or a machine breaks down, and we have to spend the night fixing it. That’s just part of being in the VKI Area. It’s a tough environment, but it’s where the work happens. We just keep our heads down and stay busy with the tools every single day to get the jobs done.
