Sona Ram Sood

Sona Ram Sood is the name on the door here at 248-A in Arya Nagar. We are located in Muralipura, not too far from the Jaipur G P O. It’s a residential-feeling area but with plenty of small businesses tucked away. Our building is a bit tucked back from the main road. It can be a little dusty when the wind picks up, but that’s just how it is here. Inside, it’s mostly just shelves and a few desks where we handle our daily business. We don't have any big slogans or shiny posters on the walls. Most of the decor is just calendars from previous years that we never took down. People in Arya Nagar know where to find us if they need anything. We don’t bother with much technology beyond what’s necessary. A phone and a basic computer get us through. Sometimes we sit outside on the porch when the weather is nice to have our tea. It’s a good way to see who is passing by. We’ve been here long enough that we don’t feel the need to prove anything to anyone. We just do what we do and try to stay out of trouble. The neighborhood is changing with more people moving in, but 248-A stays pretty much the same. It’s a solid place to work and we’re happy with the slow pace most days. We just keep moving forward.
