Sobhag Mal Jain

I go by Sobhag Mal Jain and you can find me over at 105 Civil Lines on Hari Marg. This area is quite different from the busier parts of the city because it has a lot more trees and the roads are a bit wider. I have been at this address for a long time, and I have grown used to the pace of life here. My office is a simple room where I handle my daily affairs and meet with whoever needs to see me. It is not a modern office with all those new-age gadgets, just a solid desk, some chairs, and my filing cabinets. I like the history of Civil Lines and how the buildings here have a bit of character to them. Usually, my mornings start with a cup of tea while I go through the mail or check my notes for the day. There is not much noise from the street, which is nice for getting things done without distractions. Sometimes people drop by just to say hello or ask for a bit of advice on something. I have lived through many seasons in this house, watching the rain come down on Hari Marg during the monsoon and the dust settle in the summer. It is a quiet existence and I do not feel the need to move or change much about how I work. I just keep things simple and take care of what needs doing one day at a time.
