S.K. (India) Mines & Minerals

We are located at B-70 on Sahakar Marg, right in the Lal Kothi Scheme area. It’s a well-known part of Jaipur, so we get a good amount of people coming through. Our work is all about mines and minerals, which means we spend a lot of time looking at samples and checking reports from the field. It’s not always the most exciting work to talk about, but it’s important to us. The office is where we handle the logistics and the paperwork that comes with the mining industry. It’s a pretty lived-in space, with maps on the walls and plenty of files everywhere. We don’t really go for that ultra-modern look you see in some of the newer buildings. We prefer things the way they are. Most of us have been working with minerals for a long time, so we’ve seen the market go up and down. We just keep our heads down and stay busy. The area around Sahakar Marg is usually humming with activity, which keeps things interesting. Sometimes we have to travel out to the actual sites, but the office here is our main anchor. We don’t have a big corporate philosophy or anything like that. We just know our minerals and we try to be as practical as possible with how we run the business day to day. It’s just how things work here.
